I think when I originally drew this image, I had a completely different concept in mind. I don’t know what that concept was, so I opted to do whatever the heck I wanted and I really like the results. It’s a lot more powerful than I thought it would have been.
I more or less like this sketch. I think most of it is a bit above average for me for the most part, probably thanks to Pose Studio, minus the face which I have a slight issue with. I don’t like the eye placement, which looks too low. On a plus side, she has more forehead that I don’t normally give my characters.

And now, let’s talk about the coloured version. I think the original image was suppose to be done in Photoshop to mimic some images I saw on Pixiv that I really liked, but by the time I actually got to this image, I had a different concept in mind. I’m really glad I went with this concept too.
Spark is suppose to be using her lightning magic for some reason and is making everything glow around her.
I LOVE THE EFFECTS ON THIS IMAGE. Okay, so, the shading job on this image isn’t the best I’ve ever done, but the textures and the colour adjustments look amazing, giving the image this strange vintage, deep depth look. When I look at the image, I don’t simply see a flat picture. I see a three dimensional being that I could walk around and be touched by the electricity she is emitting from around her and through her. It’s pretty breathtaking for me.
I don’t really like the lightning sphere star sort of thing she has forming, but it’s alright. It slightly lowers the image’s quality.
Her face looks a lot better too. I think I might have fixed the features a tiny bit, but I can’t remember. I also fixed her body markings (they’re not tattoos), which is obvious if you compare the two images.
Overall, this is definitely one of my favourite images and, to me, an improvement over a certain picture of Spark I did after this one.
