Just like many of the other pieces I have previously mentioned, I drew three pieces, people picked one out of a poll, and the winning piece (this one) became a print that I sold at conventions. And just like those other pieces, I did not have too much of an understanding of Seaborn at the time, so I didn’t really know what to draw for him. I chose to draw him with a sea creature because…well, why not? He’s a merperson…so…sea creature…???
If I was to draw Seaborn today, he’d look a lot happier, energetic, and kind. He looks that way here a bit, but not as much as I would draw him now.
I don’t really…have much to say. There’s not much to say. Seaborn is underwater, gently petting a squid. That’s it. Not much thought behind it.
