Back when my commissions were open, I had a VIP program where my most frequent clientele who I also favoured were given a special “card” (literally just an image with a number on it and their name) that gave them quite a few benefits: 25% off their combined commission order, exclusive commissions, up to 70% combined discounts (some of my regular commissions had discounts built in, like chibi commissions), priority, and increased picture limit!
I needed a piece of artwork that would reflect the ~V.I.P.~ status. I ultimately decided to draw my Queen side in some sort of modern evening dress. I thought that would best reflect the program.
If I remember correctly, this piece was used on the VIP program page and on the card itself with an overlay in gold. ’cause…you know…VIP.
I actually really like this piece. I don’t know if I would necessarily wear a dress exactly like this, but I think it works well for the artwork. I love the overall pose – there’s something that’s both sexy and elegant. I feel like you’d be drinking champagne with my Queen side…only to realize you’re not drinking champagne, but juice because I don’t drink, pffft.
To be honest, I think I pulled a bit of inspiration from manga portrayals of hostess clubs for the overall look and feel. I didn’t use any references or anything like that for it – I just pulled inspiration from my memory.
