I drew this piece of Kelly for my art commissions back when they were open. I needed an example for the knee-length to full-body pieces.
This is one of my favourite pieces. My fondest memory of it was using it as one of the test pictures for my Silhouette Cameo (a craft cutting machine I make my stickers on) and putting it on my corkboard.
The printed version of the picture looks a lot better though than the final coloured version. I actually forgot how the original version looked and I have to say…I wish I had left off the textures or at the very least, toned it down. The darks and lights are too contrasted for a picture like this in my opinion.
My favourite part of this piece is definitely Kelly’s pose. It’s just really fun, while also being super chill. I love it!
